The New Sound of Music
The New Sound of Music is a 1979 BBC documentary about avant-garde music-making technology, which never mentions Delia.
They introduce the section about the Radiophonic Workshop with some footage shot in her room at the BBC in Maida Vale, followed by a playing of the Doctor Who theme, which is used again to close the RW sequence. Her favourite lampshade is used as an example of an object for creating musique concrete.
She appears uncredited on film in the documentary, one minute into the start of the fourth part, starting Peter Zinovieff's Partita for Unattended Computer on stage at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London in 1968.
The programme ends with an interview with David Vorhaus at their Kaleidophon studio in Camden High Street.
